Funding comes on an annual basis from the Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Tadley Town Council and local parishes, and the Bureau competes for funds with the other deserving charities of the district. Any one-off expenses have to be found outside the core funding, and local charities such as the Lions and Four Lanes Trust, local firms, and national charities have funded valuable work for our clients.
Tadley Citizens Advice Bureau is a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux. The aims of the Assocation are:
- To ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and their responsibilities or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively.
- To exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policy, both locally and nationally.
THE CAB SERVICE IS FREE AND INDEPENDENT, PROVIDING CONFIDENTIAL AND IMPARTIAL ADVICE TO EVERYBODY REGARDLESS OF RACE, SEX, DISABILITY OR SEXUALITY. |
