Tadley CAB was formed in 1985 when local residents decided they needed a confidential and impartial advice service in the town. It was first located in the old Police Houses in Mulfords Hill, but moved in 1995 to new premises in Franklin Avenue.

The Bureau is run by a voluntary Trustee Board who employ a part time Manager and Deputy to manage the Bureau on a day-to day basis. The voluntary advisers train for 6 – 8 months to use the regularly updated information system.
The Bureau deals with any problems - from employment to education, benefits to bereavement, divorce to debt, housing to health etc

The Bureau has been awarded the Community Legal Service Quality Mark at the General Help level, the first step for clients to getting quality-assured legal advice, and passed its audit in 2004, achieving a place in the top 14% of Bureaux nationally |

Meet Sue Cutler, our present manager, who has been with the Bureau from the beginning. Our deputy is Ann Tingey, and Linda Harvey and Ann Fairley are our Money Advice and Community Care specialists respectively |
